X-Rays

Spine and Sports Chiropractic has the necessary imaging tools in our office, so you don’t have to travel all over town for imaging. While not all new patients need x-rays on the first visit, we have that option in-house if indicated by the doctor in order to save you time and money. We always do an examination on the patient’s first visit to address their complaints/concerns. Some, but not all, patients require x-rays for access to any fracture, skeletal deformities, or any contraindications for treatments. Our patients appreciate the thoroughness of seeing that it is safe to receive treatments or if they need to be referred out to another provider for examination or treatment.

X-rays are a very low dose of radiation and give a wealth of information to the treating Doctor allowing them to create a more specific treatment plan.

At Spine and Sports Chiropractic, we believe in the value of wellness. On-site x-rays help further that belief, as we are able to relieve the stress of our patients and have the ability to quickly recognize any issues or conditions from the x-ray.

What are On Site Xrays?

An x-ray is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. A bone x-ray makes images of any bone in the body, including the hand, wrist, arm, elbow, shoulder, spine, pelvis, hip and more. On-site x-ray services are when x-rays are performed in the office for routine studies, such as chest, bone, joint, and abdominal films. More complicated studies may be referred to outside radiologist specialists.

If the Xrays taken at our office do not give us enough information, or tell us that more specific imaging is needed- our doctors work closely with the imaging centers in Bozeman to make sure our patients are taken care of and are sent to the right place.
